Hamid Hajioghli started Martial Arts at 11 years of age in his home country of Iran. He studied Kung-Fu (Shaolin Styles) and then continued with Shotokan Karate.
Finally he became interested in the Art of Tae Kwon Do;one of the most dynamic kicking styles and form of self defence. He relocated to New Delhi to attend college. While there, he continued his training in Tae Kwon Do; winning 4 consecutive national titles in the early 80's. He was selected to the team that went to the 1985 Asian Games, held in Australia.
He finally settled in Toronto, Canada, where he furthered his involvement in Tae Kwon Do by opening his own gym in October, 1993. To challenge himself further, he competed at 'OPEN Black Belt' Tae Kwon Do tournaments; winning both provincial and national titles.
In his fully equiped, modern, 5000 sq. ft. gym, he now spends most of his time teaching students traditional and Olympic styled Tae Kwon Do.
